Sarracenia ‘Reptilian Rose’

This is truly a rare offering. Sarracenia ‘Reptilian Rose’ is without a doubt one of the most outstanding and well known carnivorous plant cultivars in the last decade. Unfortunately it's still exceedingly rare in most collections, especially outside the US. This jaggedly elegant stunner is a cross produced by famous Sarracenia breeder Phil Faulisi and germinated and register by Travis Wyman.  

‘Reptilian Rose’ produces some of the most stunning and spectacular pitchers of all Sarracenia, with deep burgundy colouration, a giant expressive lid and of course the amazing puckered angular peristome! To top it off, the copious sweet nectar produced around the pitcher opening smells like roses!

This cultivar has gained tremendous notoriety for its magnificent form, colouration, and vigour. It's also been used extensively in Sarracenia breeding to produce some of the most spectacular registered cultivars in recent years. An absolute must have for any serious Sarracenia collector.
