Pinguicula gigantea, a remarkable Mexican Butterwort carnivorous plant native to the state of Oaxaca in Mexico.
P. gigantea is truly an unmistakable carnivorous plant. Unlike almost all other Pinguicula species it has sticky trichomes it uses to catch insects on both sides of its leaves, The leaves are also the largest of all Pinguicula, not to mention the striking blue flowers this species produces.
Plants for sale are young-adult plants ~7.5cm (3 inches) in diameter. Plants will be shipped unpotted with the root system carefully wrapped and protected for shipping.
